Glossary & Index
Many medals are not completely identified,
i.e. their sculptors or other vital pieces of information remain unknown. That makes
these medals hard to find. This page offers thematic links through a keyword index as well as
links to pages that provide background information on persons, groups, and companies. It is not a perfect
or complete glossary or index and, as everything else on this site, remains a work in progress.
Nevertheless, I hope this page either helps you find a specific medal or enjoy some
unexpected treasures that you would have missed otherwise.
Please let me know if you find a medal on the site that should be in one of the
thematic category pages but isn't. You can also request new categories.
